CHRIS'S WORLD. This is my world, the chrome, the sparkle of the paint, the shiny everything and the style of these magnificent machines take me back to all the car shows I ever attended as a kid. All the things I loved to look at, photograph, touch and feel, I am living my childhood dream, because now I get to play with these carriages every day. Cleaning and polishing and a complete detailing before each charter, these cars proudly take to the highways and country lanes spotless, with shine and sparkle. My ego is stroked with the stares and the complements, not to mention the many invitations I get to display the Carriages at Car Shows, I am just like a proud dad on graduation day. Most people think it a little strange that I really do enjoy detailing our carriages, but the satisfaction of my job being well done cannot be beat. We chose 1996 models for their looks, space, comfort and solid construction, they can handle all the dips and bumps of our country and mountain roads here in Napa wine country. The painstaking attention to detail shown by the craftsmen in the rebirth of these Luxurious Classics was above even our expectations. I hope you enjoy our carriages as much as I do. Something that we have been looking into for sometime is about to become a reality, with the backing help and insistence of our investor, WE ARE GOING GREEN, no, not a paint color change. We are talking ECO-friendly engines, we have decided that it is the way to go for us, located here in the beautiful Napa Valley. The most expensive farmland in the world should be protected if just for the wine! We hope to have our slightly enlarged fleet completely GREEN by year's end. This as you can imagine, is a very expensive proposition for us to implement. Finding a fuel source, a designer and someone to build the mechanics into our carriages, this has added a completely new dimension to our Research and Development Duties. Other limousine companies are adding hybrids to their fleets and boasting THEY ARE GREEN, the Prius is not exactly what I would consider the appropriate vehicle for a luxurious wine tour. |
