Wow! These guys really know their stuff! My fiancé took me on one of the tours to show off his “extensive wine knowledge,” and although I love him I must say that his showing off did not work this time. Bill and Chris know more than we ever will, but they act like it’s no big deal and are super friendly. (Which is good because they didn’t hurt Tom’s ego.) Thanks for a fun time guys!!!
This January was my first time going wine-tasting and boy am I glad I chose Cristal Blue Carriage. I am not a particular wine enthusiast, but I definitely enjoy wine and new experiences. I felt like Tom Sawyer exploring new territory high style. I also got to taste rare wines that I would not find unless being guided by experienced professionals. All this while traveling in the comfort of a limo. Now how about that for a day off?
There are not enough words of admiration and respect that I have for both Bill and Chris.
I have taken 4 wine tours with them in Napa and I will never stray from the two best wine connoisseurs / tour guides in all of Northern California! In the past, if you selected a limo company and found a driver that you liked, you had to request them and hope that your request was granted (yeah and GOOD LUCK). With Cristal Blue Carriage, you never have to put in a request because both Bill and Chris are AMAZING!! There are hundreds of wineries throughout Northern California just waiting to be explored so why are you going to all the main touristy ones?!?!?!? CBC makes it SO easy to book a tour with them. All you have to do is tell them the types of wine you most enjoy and let them create the itinerary for you! CBC won't take you to a winery that they haven't tried out (and loved!) themselves and being wine connoisseurs, you can expect each winery to be of highest quality in both wine and customer service. Trust me, you WON'T be disappointed in both their knowledge of Napa, wines and their incredible customer service. I believe 110% that when you take a tour with CBC you WILL be back!! I can't wait to see them next Saturday!
We took a tour with the people from Cristal Blue this August and I can tell you; it was very special. We drove through beautiful country and learned a whole lot about all sorts of wines. I would definitely take a tour again when I get the chance.
My sister and I stumbled upon Bill 5 years ago and we've been touring wine country exclusively with he and Chris ever since. His knowledge of the wineries, the people that work there, and the wines as well is far superior to anything else you will ever find. He is personable, funny and a bit of a wine snob, meaning he won't take you anywhere that he hasn't deemed worthy himself, and that is a rare quality. I have recommended several people to Bill and Chris and they are all are ready to book their next trip with them. If you want a wonderful, quaint, relaxed day in the valley, and are ready to open your mind up to the small, cozy wineries you have no choice but to book with Bill and Chris.
We just returned from our third trip with Cristal Blue Carriage (with Bill as our trusted guide) ... and what a time we had! We don't know how they do it, but CBC knows just where to take us -- particularly based on our love of bold red wines -- so that we'll get the most out of our time in Wine Country. We love discovering lesser-known wines -- especially ones that you can't just pick up off the grocery shelves. Without him, there's no way we would have found our now-favorite wines and had such entertaining/educational tour experiences. We're almost hesitant to navigate Wine Country on our own because there is far less guarantee we'll taste as much, see as much or enjoy as much as we can with Cristal Blue Carriage. They've got relationships with winemakers and winery staff that we could only hope to have. We've seen other transportation companies simply drop off their guests without so much as opening a door or introducing them to the winery staff. Bill and Chris would never think of doing that. You're treated like royalty with them. We HIGHLY recommend Cristal Blue Carriage. We will be back for a fourth trip with them. :)
Just enjoyed my sixth trip with Bill & Chris of Cristal Blue Carriage...WOW! It just doesn't get any better! I've done stints in the wine business and been a wine collector for decades; I've criss-crossed Napa and Sonoma in search of the next great find and tasted a lot of plonk in the process. Since finding Bill Kane four years ago, I wouldn't consider going tasting without him. Each time I tour with Bill, he introduces me to more unknown wineries, hidden gems that I'd probably never find on my own. Thanks for the last trip!
Bill and Chris are very professional and they take good care of you during your tour of the vineyards. Everybody should do this day trip at least once whether you are a fine wine connoisseur or not. The only problem is that you want to go back, and do it again and again. Guys, thank you so much and we will see you again very soon!

This letter has been a long time coming! I just wanted to write to you and say thank you, not only
for your amazing service, but for taking part in my marriage proposal. A year ago my friends and I
went on a Napa wine tour with you and you graciously took us to five amazing wineries. We had
such a wonderful time and it was certainly a day we would never forget. My boyfriend and I were
particularly struck by Ceja winery and would probably never have discovered that gem of a place
without you! Six months after our trip with Cristal Blue Carriage, my boyfriend proposed to me in
the middle of the Ceja vineyard. Not only are we loyal Ceja wine club members but we have
developed a close friendship with the Ceja family. None of this would have been possible without
YOU! Your service is professional and well organized and you were so helpful and friendly the whole
day. It was obvious to us all that you truly love your job and that passion you have truly shows in your

I know I speak for the group when I say that we had a truly memorable Napa experience thanks to your
hospitality, professionalism and intimate knowledge of the valley. Starting with your pristine, finely
appointed carriage with a polish so fine that we could actually see our teeth grow more purple as the day
progressed and our smiles widened - it was a privilege to travel in such style. The route and the
destinations were exactly what we had hoped for our first anniversary weekend and provided a more personal
and up close view of the hidden Napa that is often missed from within the large scale tasting rooms. We
enjoyed our scenic tour of the valley, meeting the winery owners, hearing their personal stories and family
histories, and, of course, tasting some absolutely fantastic wines. Our day with Cristal Blue was the highlight
